Job Description

This is not a job for people who only love dogs.

This is a role for people who can act under pressure, take responsibility, and make decisions quickly when necessary.

You will work with dogs and cats with serious behavioral problems. This means you need to be able to switch quickly, be sharp, and always think in solutions.

In addition, you are not only working with the animals but also with customers. You are responsible for helping customers effectively by selling them the right assistance in lessons and programs. You clearly contribute financially to the growth of the company.

About us

We work daily with dogs and cats that have nowhere else to go. Our goal is to give these dogs a second chance through training, structure, and clear guidance.

We work directly, honestly, and without unnecessary noise. Safety, responsibility, and results always take precedence over our own comfort.

Daily responsibilities

• Training and guiding dogs (and cats) with behavioral problems

• Independently determining which dogs can walk together

• Acting immediately in crisis situations (e.g., overstimulation, conflicts, illness)

• Identifying problems and solving them immediately

• Supervising volunteers (they follow your lead)

• Identifying and addressing mistakes within the team

• Ensuring the safety of animals and the environment

• Efficiently carrying out daily tasks (walking, caring, training, selling)

• Selling lessons and programs to customers

• Actively contributing to the growth of the company

Working method

• Physical work (lots of walking, running, guiding or warding off dogs, being actively engaged)

What will you do?

As a franchisee, you are responsible for independently running your Animal’s Faith location. You work according to our vision, values, and methods, but with the freedom to operate locally.  You are responsible for:

• Setting up and expanding your location within the Animal’s Faith concept
• Managing and guiding employees and volunteers
• Monitoring quality, animal welfare, and daily processes
• Financial and operational management of the location
• Collaborating with the franchisor and contributing to the further growth of Animal’s Faith

Who are you?

• You have a clear entrepreneurial mindset and feel ultimately responsible for the operation of a location.
• You have experience in leadership and know how to motivate, inspire, and empower people.
• You are communicatively strong and a true people manager with a listening ear, but you are also not afraid to be clear when necessary.
• You have a heart for animals and understand the importance of good care, clear structures, and professional conduct.
• You are goal-oriented, stress-resistant, and not afraid to make decisions, even when the situation calls for it.
• - Je kunt constructieve feedback geven en ontvangen, en begrijpt dat fouten maken bij het leerproces hoort (zonder hierin te overdrijven 😉).
• You think in solutions rather than problems and see opportunities to improve processes, teams, and results.
